The Deupree Community Meals on Wheels program serves both older adults and homebound individuals in eastern Cincinnati who wish to receive home-delivered meals. All meals are funded through private pay or funding established by the Council on Aging in Southwestern Ohio. Meals on Wheels is a cost-effective way to ensure that homebound people get the nutrition and social contact they need to live independently.
Any individual - regardless of age, income, or circumstance - may receive meals through private pay. In certain circumstances, subsidized funding may be available. To qualify for Council on Aging funding, clients must meet a set of criteria, including being at least 60 years of age.
